MOULTRIE — The Colquitt County junior varsity boys and girls soccer teams will open their seasons on Monday against Thomasville at Packer Park.

The girls game will start at 4:30 p.m. The boys will start at about 5:45 p.m.

The Colquitt County girls JV team will again be coached by Amanda Tate.

Her players are Maria Arellano-Luna, Brittany Bautista, Valentina Carriachi, Dalianni Frometa, Meredith Fuller, Selyna Gant, Ashley Garcia, Ny’Kearian Green, Mynasiah Holsey, Lori King, Noelle Lang, Jennifer Perez, Eva Portillo, Martha Rivera, Destinie Stokes, Trinity Summerlin and Danelis Tepatate.

The team’s managers are Cayla Rogers and Nita Burkett.

Justin Nelms is back to coach the junior varsity boys team.

His roster includes Jaciel Martinez, Jose Martes, Tyler Spires, Jared Brown, Landon White, Roy Luna, Gedber Mejia, Raul Malagon, Isaac Malagon, Rickey Rivera, Ellis Liloy, Mario Sanchez, Fernando Bautista, Fernando Rodriguez, Paulino Munoz, Francisco Martin, Victor Cleto, Baudillo Martinez, Geoffrey Zeigler, Wes Smith, Erik Leon, Sergio Jimenez, George Wodrazka, Hugo Vasquez, Brandon Mendez and Quan Ballard.

The JV teams each will play 13 games.

After Monday’s opener, the JV teams will play four straight on the road: at Lee County on Feb. 16, at Valdosta on Feb. 19, at Cairo on Feb. 23 and at Westover on Feb. 25.

The Lady Packers and Packers also will have home matches against Cairo on March 2, Lowndes on March 9, Lee County on March 16 and Valdosta on March 26.
