MOULTRIE — The Lee County rifle team had three scores in the 290s and defeated Colquitt County 1,160-1,066 on Thursday at the high school.
Katelyn Howell shot a match-high 292 and teammates Madysin Haire and Courney Weekley each shot 290.
James Roberts had the final counting score of 288. Henry Brown shot a non-counting 283.
None of the Lee County shooters turned in a score lower than 93 in any of the three positions.
Haire had a 100 and Howell and Weekley each shot 99 in the prone position.
Colquitt County was led by Kellen Kern, who shot a 276 that included a 94 in the prone, a 90 in the standing and a 92 in the kneeling position.
Sylvia Comer turned in a 266, with an 88 in the prone, an 87 in the standing and a 91 in the kneeling position. Lauren Carter had a 266 and Delilah Woods a 260 for Colquitt County.
The Packers will travel to Dooly County next Thursday and to Wilcox on Feb. 26.
