MOULTRIE- The Colquitt County seventh-grade baseball finished its perfect season with a 16-4 victory over Newbern on Wednesday at Packer Park.

The seventh-grade Packers pounded out 13 hits, including five for extra bases in the victory.

The team was outstanding offensively all season, posting a team batting average of .463 and a remarkable on-base percentage of .629 while winning all 14 of its games.

On Wednesday, Henry Daniels, Jaycee Harden, Carter Boatwright, Owen Taylor and Jacob Walden each had two hits.

Lucas Tostenson, Callon Kubiak and Drew Dalton each had one hit.

Harden had a home run; Daniels, a triple and a double; Boatwright, a triple; and Taylor, a double.

The other team members are Dawson Branch, Chance Caulder, Nate Creech, Clint Folsom and J.T. Whatley.
