MOULTRIE — The Colquitt County middle girls soccer team went on the road on Friday and brought back 2-0 victory over Lowndes Middle School.

The match was scoreless at the half, but the Lady Packers got goals from Jaycee Lott and Laura Veasey in the second half to get the win that raised their record to 9-2-3.

Madison Turner assisted on Veasey’s goal.

The Colquitt County middle school boys battled to a 1-1 tie.

The Packers trailed 1-0 at the half, but got a goal from Daniel Gonzalez in the second half to forge the tie.

Carlos Martinez got the assist.

The middle school Packers are now 7-2-5.

Coach Ben Marion praised the defensive work of Miguel Barrera.

The middle school teams travel to Hahira this morning.
