MOULTRIE -- Rocky's became the first three-game winner in the Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Department's Farm League when it defeated Zaxby's 12-0 on Monday.
Mark Lindsey had three hits and Payne Newsome two for Rocky's, 3-0. Zaxby's falls to 0-2.
In Monday's other Farm League game, Drew Merchant reached on a base hit and scored the winning run in the top of the sixth inning as Bank of America edged Random Designs 7-6.
Dillon Presley, Tyler Brown and Lee Wright each had two hits for Bank of America, now 1-1.
Skylar Lindsey and Rashad Weeks each had two hits for Random Design, now 0-3. One of Lindsey's hits was a home run.
VFW remain undefeated in Pony League play after its 6-3 victory over Doerun on Monday.
Cory Bridwell went the distance to get the victory and Andrew Wallace and Jay Wingate each had two hits for VFW, now 4-0.
Cody McLean and Austin Cannon each had two hits for Doerun, now 3-2.
In Monday's other Pony League game, Southwest Georgia Bank pounded United Storage 19-4.
Clay Hartley was the winning pitcher and Tyler Perryman, Michael Dozier, Jeremiah Davis and Luke White each had two hits for Southwest Georgia Bank. One of Perryman's was a home run.
United Storage is now 0-6.
Moultrie Insurance Agency and Quality Employment remain unbeaten after two games of Midget League play following their Monday night victories.
Quality Employment edged American Banking Co. 10-9. Ethan Hathcock was the winning pitcher and joined Anthony Cortez and Case Snipes in getting two hits for Quality Employment.
Seth Whittaker, Reed Whittaker and Funterious Copeland each had two hits for ABC, now 0-2.
John Michael Harrison got a base hit and Judd Cato reached on an error and both scored on a base hit by Daniel Garcia in the fourth inning for the only runs in Moultrie Insurance Agency's 2-0 victory over Bank of America.
Harrison and starting pitcher Jebb Cato combined to strike out 16 Bank of America batters.
Rob Rojas went four innings and Clark Coleman two on the mound for Bank of America. The pair combined to strike out 10 MIA batters.
Bank of America is now 1-2.
Doerun got its first victory of the season on Monday, defeating Harper-McCall 9-2.
William Oliver was the winning pitcher and hit two home runs for Doerun, now 1-2. Teammate C.J. Copeland also had a pair of hits.
Harper-McCall falls to 1-1.
Southwest Georgia Bank used a pair of inside-the-park home runs from winning pitcher Yale Holton to defeat Mobley Plant 6-5. D.J. Vanzant also had two hits for SWGB, now 1-1. Mobley Plant falls to 1-1.
In Tiny Mites, Bank of America defeated Holman 9-5, and Mobley Plant won over Wilson Plumbing 11-7.
