Southwest Georgia Insurance and Davis Insurance played seven innings in their Midget League game on Monday at the Magnolia Complex, but neither team could score a run and it ended in a 0-0 tie.

J.T. Whatley went the first three innings on the mound for Southwest Georgia Insurance and Carter Boatwright finished up.

The pair combined to strike out 18 Davis Insurance batters.

Jacob Walden went the first six innings and Brooks Henry pitched the seventh for Davis Insurance. They struck out seven.

Boatwright, Whatley, Gabe Horne and Evan Taylor each had base hits for Southwest Georgia Insurance, now 8-1-1.

Walden had two hits and Wes Davis one for Davis Insurance.

Hutchinson-Traylor defeated Southwest Georgia Bank 11-4 in Monday’s other Midget League game.

Levi Stanfill was the winning pitcher. Lane Fields went 3-for-3; Callon Kubiak, Dawson Branch, Lane Bruce and Drew Dalton each had two hits; and Lucas Tostenson and Devin Watson each had one hit for Hutchinson-Traylor.

Owen Fleury had a home run and Nate Creech, Vander Hampton and Jumantay Wilson had hits for Southwest Georgia Bank.

Monday’s two Farm League games were one-sided affairs.

Paradise Pool and Patio blanked Lazarus in one game 18-0.

Joseph Stokes, Dalton Fillyaw and Charlie Martin each had three hits and Cam Cook, Jar’Dae Williams, Tyler Owens, Nick Giles, Jesse McMurphy and Jonah Hagin each had two hits for Paradise Pool and Patio.

In Monday’s other Farm League game, Southwest Georgia Bank defeated Zaxby’s 14-3.

Bryce Monk had three hits and Austin Willis, Tarry Anderson, Gage Edmondson, Dijmon Wheeler a Luke Barber each had two for Southwest Georgia Bank. Chase Blanton had two for Zaxby’s.

In Monday’s Tiny Mites, Holman Supply won over Southwest Georgia Bank 9-6 adn Zaxby’s defeated Stone’s 12-7.
